Past few years, we saw a new style spread on the internet. The avenue of multimedia productions in the world of photojournalists. The advent of Web 2.0 around the world has come in some way that photography isin’t worth the same as what it was in the past. Now that the regular users of the web are used to listening to video clips, live interviews and audio reports, newspapers are under an obligation to quickly ajust to the new web in coming to a solution, Multimedia. The photojournalistic multimedia is somehow a mix of all that the new website brings to the user. Images, sound and the interactivity, at the same time.
In rencent times, it is noticable how big newpapers have adapted to this new life by creating some features with compliments of sound and interactivity. By this way, the user can take benefit of the full value of the sensation that this reporting will bring to him.
In the past, people had the tendency to say that a picture was worth a 1000 words. Unfortunately, that way of thinking had to adapt itself to offer some kind of concurency to other media such as online radios and online television channels.
How do we define that movement as a trend? It’s a movement that has just (pas de get) started but that will assure the life of the newspapers in the future, apart from their paper productions, put their money on a web posting. Internet postings are crucial to the survival of newspapers (incomes from publicity sales), the papers has to, yet again, offer a high quality product that will attract those young and updated viewers.
So today i’m inviting you to stay tunned with the new outcomes in photojournalistic multimedia. This is the future of the modern photojournalism, a photojournalism where the image is the base of the information, but a base that must get some complements to stay attractive for the public.
